I have a DX1400 and normally will get it up and running and then stop until it's time to shoot in a couple of weeks. For specific marks and activities i'll probably do some what. set up, but not much. I like my lower end rig for absolutely anything. Oh, did i say i dont like it for in game play? Cause i really dont. For shooting with it for my wife, we normally just use one of my Gaussian Green line laser or a similar one. When we'll go some where like the wally world there'll be somethings you can't find that you want for the weekend or buy for a few bucks. So it's a handy thing to have. For me and a stand and a basic 8mm lens it does about everything i need for the past 2+ years. As far as thinking of my rig as a lower end rig i'd say it's pretty close. The only things i'd add are a decent wide angle lens and if i want to replace my 18-55 kit lens which is very good. Maybe a set of "copy" lenses. I dont think you can over do this with a dslr. Sure, you can get away with worse for less money but i'm guessing that someone with a 3dslr will struggle with a dslr just as much. If you're serious about this and serious about your hobby i
